Garage Floor Toorak
These 2 separate garage floors in Toorak (that are connected to the same house) were covered up in old paint and plaster. Someone tried to clean them up using high water pressure gun, but It did not work. The owner then contacted his house painter for assistance, who contacted us for a help with solving this issue. After our site visit we suggested to grind the floor using dustless equipment and then we proposed to apply 2 coats of industrial grade roll on flooring epoxy coating, which looks like a really thick paint.

The whole process took us 2 days from start to finish. During first day the floor was ground, repaired and first coat of epoxy coating was applied. Next day we returned to lightly sand the floor and to apply a second final coat. The end result is a durable tough floor surface resistant to petrols, oils and mild to strong chemicals.
How much did it cost?
Well, the epoxy flooring cost for a double garages is around $2,000 + gst, depending on the amount of preparation involved. If the floor does not have any structural damage then the price is set at $2K + gst for light and mid grey colours. If the floor needs to be done using bright colours the price will change.
